Admission requirements
Candidates must have obtained a Lebanese Baccalaureate or an equivalent diploma and pass the entrance exam.
Learning objectives
The aim of the Mechanical Department is to train specialists in Industrial Mechanics and multi-skilled technicians capable of rapidly adapting to technological developments and to intervene at all stages of production: from design to manufacturing.
During the training period (last semester), the student performs a 10 weeks internship in an industrial company.
Throughout the curriculum, a large part is dedicated to projects, individual initiatives and contacts with professionals (projects, visits to companies ...).
Teaching is divided into courses, tutorials , practical work and a training.
The teaching team is made up of teachers and professionals: doctors, project managers, consultants...
Career opportunities
The graduate in mechanics could be integrated in specialized or multi-purpose service manufacturing or industrial departments: study or tooling offices, methods, industrialization, maintenance, organization and production management, quality-control testing, purchasing, sales and after-sales teams. He can work in industries like automotive, home appliances, food, transportation, public works, engineering companies, CNC, Robotics...
